Are you an ambitious and proactive Procurement Manager looking for an exciting opportunity in the mining and civil projects sector? Our client, an ore producer specialising in Exploration, Production and Processing projects across Australia, is on the lookout for a motivated individual to join their team. If you have a proven history in leadership roles, experience driving teams, as well as building and managing relationships from end to end in the supply chain, we want to hear from you.

Become an integral part of our Operations team, working closely with the Operations Manager. This is a role where you can make a significant impact, taking the lead in the development and review of Supplier & Vendor Management, Risk Management, Stakeholder Engagement, Inventory Management, and Contract Management.
**What We're Looking For**:
- Proven experience in a Procurement/Logistics Management roles in the mining industry.
- Contract Management, Risk Management, and delivery services.
- Proficiency in ERP software systems such as PRONTO.
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives, optimizing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
- Strong familiarity with mining supply chain dynamics and associated spend categories.
**Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To**:
- Analysing expenditure and supplier arrangements to identify improvements and savings in procurement and logistics purchasing models.
- Identifying local and international suppliers, assisting in procurement tender evaluation, and managing supplier documentation.
- Coordinate with various departments to understand their supply needs and requirements.
- Professional knowledge gained through significant experience working in a similar role 5 plus years.
- Knowledge of mining supply chain and associated spend categories.
- Experience in strategic sourcing, category management and procurement.
- Experience in using large scale ERP and business intelligence or reporting tools
