We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Planning Manager to join the the Housing, Building and Land Delivery (HBLD) group of the Department of Transport and Planning (DTP). This position is responsible for delivering high-quality, reliable, and timely statutory planning controls and processes across Victoria while delivering best practice engagement with partner agencies, authorities, industry and the community. The role will play a core role in the VPA's input and guidance to driving innovation and streamlined pathways. As a member of the leadership team, the successful candidate will contribute to the achievement of corporate goals and be responsible for managing, mentoring, and coordinating a small team of planners.
