We are a leading provider of mental health services, specialising in supporting adults and young people, as well as early childhood intervention.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide high-quality support and services to individuals with mental illness living in supported accommodation.
* Offer client-focused, community-oriented, and sensitive support.
* Assist individuals with mental illness to maintain key relationships and organisational connections, facilitating independent living.
* Increase access and equity for clients within a collaborative recovery model of psychosocial rehabilitation.
* Support individuals with mental illness to develop daily living skills.
* Encourage healthy habits and personal hygiene practices.
* Enable clients to participate in daily household tasks.
* Mentor individuals in building productive relationships and effective conflict resolution strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

* Minimum of Certificate IV in mental health or community services related discipline (ideally a completed diploma or degree).
* Demonstrated effective listening, empathy, and communication skills.
* Experience working with individuals experiencing mental illness.
* Ability to remain calm and deal sensitively with distressed individuals.
* Understanding of the principles of duty of care, rights to privacy, and confidentiality.
* Ability to help programme participants link with relevant community resources and promote their rights, responsibilities, and recovery.
* Demonstrated ability to work with families, carers, government agencies, and community services.
* Willingness to adhere to Disability Services Acts and Standards and Work Health & Safety Act.
* Competence in Microsoft Office.
* Availability for overnight shifts and a rotating 24/7 roster.
* Eligibility for Blue Card and NDIS worker screening clearance.
* Current driver's license.
