About the role
The Senior Console Operator is responsible for providing ongoing support to the Retail Store Manager in the administration of day-today operations of the store. This role is a combination of front-facing customer service and managerial duties.
Key Duties
* Console Operator duties, including customer service, processing sales transactions, upselling and keeping the store well presented.
* Inventory management and stock control
* Assistance with last-minute roster changes
* Filing and general admin tasks
* Supporting Retail Store Manager tasks in their absence, including financial reconciliations, ordering, timesheet approvals etc.
* Training and recommendation for sign off all new store employees
* Manage site email inbox
* Any other duties as reasonably required
What you will bring to Park
* Minimum 2 years of Console Operator or Store Manager (fuel) experience required
* Applicants with food preparation and/or fuel experience will be highly favourable
* Strong leadership and communication skills, both written and verbal
* High standards of customer service and presentation
* Collaborative attitude with eagerness to obtain new skills
* Adaptability and resilience to work in a fast-paced environment
* Keen eye for detail and safety
* Strong sense of self-accountability and self-motivation
* Adaptability is essential in this highly dynamic industry
