Position Overview Jon Paul Interiors is a boutique interior design and property styling studio with nearly two decades of experience delivering high-end residential transformations across Sydney. With over 20,000 properties styled, the company is proud in providing end-to-end services including interior design, property styling, and logistics coordination. On behalf of Jon Paul Interiors, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plasterer to join the team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing, painting, and finishing a variety of surfaces while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship and safety. Position Responsibilities and Tasks: Measuring, cutting, and installing plasterboard panels to walls and ceilings Fixing plasterboard to frameworks, battens, and suspended ceiling systems Mixing and preparing plastering materials to required specifications Applying base coats, set coats, render, and finishing compounds Smoothing, levelling, and finishing surfaces using hand and power tools Installing decorative plasterwork including cornices and mouldings Repairing and restoring damaged plasterwork Preparing and priming surfaces for painting and wall coverings Interpreting plans, drawings, and technical specifications Coordinating with other trades to ensure proper sequencing of works Maintaining tools and equipment Ensuring compliance with WHS regulations Qualifications and Skills: Relevant trade qualification (at least Certificate III in Plastering) Proven experience of at least 1 year in residential plastering and finishing Strong attention to detail Ability to produce smooth, high-end finishes suitable for styled properties Good communication skills and ability to follow design briefs Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks Salary: This is a full-time position with competitive remuneration between $76,000 - $80,000 p.a. plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
