We are looking for a talented Junior to Mid-weight copywriter with proven experience in crafting compelling, audience-centric copy and creative concepts. You will work across multiple News Corp Australia (NCA) brands and external clients, delivering engaging copy tailored to various advertising platforms while maintaining brand consistency and strategic alignment.
Key responsibilities include:
Write engaging, platform-specific copy across multiple channels, from ideation to final delivery.
Confidently present creative concepts and refine work based on client and stakeholder feedback.
Collaborate with account managers and designers to turn campaign briefs into compelling creative.
Manage multiple projects independently while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
Maintain brand tone of voice while bringing fresh and innovative ideas to the table.
Conduct research into brands, competitors, audiences, and stay across industry trends.
Create tailored copy for major NCA brands, including The Australian, news.com.au, The Daily Telegraph, Taste.com.au, Delicious, GQ, and Vogue.
Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and client-focused culture while committing to ongoing skill development.
Who are you?
You have 1–2 years of copywriting experience at a creative agency or in a similar environment.
You have a strong portfolio showcasing effective copywriting, concepts, and narratives across multiple media platforms.
You possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
You have a solid understanding of client needs and can develop creative solutions.
You are highly organised with strong attention to detail and can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
You are collaborative, proactive, and solutions-focused.
