We're seeking an experienced IT Coordinator to own the day‐to‐day management of onsite IT support services, ensuring strong service delivery, clear communication, and consistent SLA performance.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating people and priorities, acting as the onsite escalation point, and working closely with stakeholders to keep operations running smoothly. You'll provide functional leadership to onsite IT staff while remaining closely connected to the technical environment.
What You'll Be Doing
* Coordinate daily onsite IT support activities and manage ticket priorities
* Monitor SLA performance and ensure incidents and requests are progressed and resolved
* Act as the primary escalation point for onsite IT issues and service disruptions
* Provide functional leadership and support to two onsite IT Support staff
* Liaise with remote IT teams, vendors, and specialist support groups
* Communicate clearly with site leadership and business stakeholders
* Plan onsite IT coverage during leave, absences, and peak demand periods
* Produce operational reporting on ticket trends, SLAs, and risks
* Identify recurring issues and drive continuous service improvement
* Ensure onsite IT services align with agreed processes, governance, and security requirements
About You
You're organised, proactive, and calm under pressure, with the ability to balance service delivery, people coordination, and stakeholder expectations.
Essential skills & experience:
* Strong experience in IT service delivery or onsite IT operations
* Solid understanding of incident, request, and escalation management in an ITSM environment
* Proven ability to manage priorities, coordinate workloads, and meet SLAs
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to lead and support technical staff without direct line management authority
Desirable:
* Experience in a coordination, team lead, or senior support role
* Exposure to Microsoft 365, endpoint support, and onsite infrastructure
* Experience working in operational, industrial, or site‐based environments
