The Firm
Our client is a progressive Accounting practice located in Malvern and they are looking for a driven and highly organized Administration Assistant to join their growing team.
Responsibilities
* Maintain the client database, updating client information.
* Liaise with the Australian Taxation Office on behalf of clients regarding general enquiries.
* Liaise with ASIC.
* Prepare letters and other documentation for clients.
* Collate tax returns and lodge income tax returns through the ATO portal.
* Schedule meetings and ensure meeting rooms are available.
* Meet and greet clients.
* Answer phones and assist clients with their queries.
* Perform any other ad hoc administrative tasks as required by the Accountants & Partners.
Qualifications
* At least 2+ years experience working in public practice accounting or similar.
* Be a people person and enjoy talking to clients.
* High attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to quickly and efficiently pick up recent systems.
