We are dedicated to helping our clients achieve their financial goals by providing expert advice and personalized service. We have two office locations, one in Newcastle and another in East Maitland; we are seeking two trainee accountants in both offices.
About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as a Trainee Accountant. In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow with our experienced team of accountants while providing support to our clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start a career in accounting and gain valuable experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting with data entry and bookkeeping tasks
* Preparing financial statements and reports
* Providing support to our team of accountants
* Learning and understanding tax laws and regulations
* Communicating with clients and other stakeholders
Qualifications & Skills
* Completed or undertaking a degree in accounting or a related field
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
* Experience with accounting software (such as Xero, MYOB) is a plus
