**Who are we looking for?**

Queensland University of Technology (QUT) is seeking a Post Graduate Development Coordinator to join Office of the Deputy Dean, Faculty of Engineering, Academic Division.

Queensland University of Technology is seeking a Postgraduate Development Coordinator that will lead the faculty's engagement with industry stakeholders to increase uptake of the Faculty's architecture and engineering postgraduate education courses. This new role will involve developing partnerships with industry groups to enhance workforce skills in a range of emerging fields such as artificial intelligence and robotics, advanced manufacturing, and renewable energy. The role requires someone with outstanding communication skills, who can effectively target potential partner organisations and nurture existing industry partners to help establish QUT as a leading education provider for engineers and architects seeking to upskill and enhance their career options.

**About the Faculty**
The Faculty of Engineering aims to shape the world we live in by engineering sustainable, innovative and liveable environments. Our programs focus on teaching, research and building a better quality of life through advancements in robotics, manufacturing, Al, architecture, and construction.
The Faculty adapts and innovates infrastructure to meet real world challenges such as overpopulation, natural disasters and climate change. We pursue high-level engagement with a range of sectors to deliver benefits across health, transport, aerospace, manufacturing, mining and agriculture.
Through long-standing collaborations with partners such as BMW, Boeing, Stryker, Shell and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, the Faculty remains at the forefront by facilitating learning that is delivered on campus, online and in the real world. Strong industry connections enable us to address complex challenges through research and innovation, as well as offer our students relevant and practical learning experiences.

The Faculty is led by the Executive Dean and the Executive Management Team comprising the deputy dean, heads of schools, and other senior faculty staff.

**What you need to succeed**

You will demonstrate:
1. Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and

2. Extensive relevant experience.

3. Demonstrated experience in leading successful programs of activity including effective project planning and management to achieve alignment with strategic directions and outcomes.

4. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in and across multi-disciplinary teams and activities to consistently deliver a high standard of service to a range of clients and stakeholders.

5. Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, negotiation and relationship management skills to realise new opportunities and grow productive partnerships, including through formal agreements.

6. Demonstrated excellent written communication skills including the development of timely and directed communication materials for internal and external audiences to support engagement in education.

7. Demonstrated high level of digital literacy.

8. Proven ability to develop, monitor and work within budget.
