As _ General Manager _, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, governance, financial performance, and strategic direction of _ Arete Care _'s _ NDIS _, _ TAC _, and _ Aged Care _ service streams. This role is pivotal to ensuring excellence in service delivery, innovation, workforce development, and organisational compliance. You’ll work closely with the Director and senior team to lead operations, manage risk, drive quality improvement, and strengthen our culture of inclusion, integrity, and client-first thinking. Key Responsibilities
Lead all operational and strategic functions across _ NDIS _, _ TAC _, and _ Aged Care _ programs. Oversee budgets and financial performance, ensuring cost-effective and sustainable service delivery. Ensure full compliance with all sector standards (_ NDIS Practice Standards _, _ TAC Frameworks _, _ Aged Care Quality Standards _). Design and implement systems, policies, and strategic plans that support organisational growth and innovation. Build, coach, and empower high-performing teams aligned to _ Arete Care _'s values and goals. Foster strong relationships with clients, families, employees, government agencies, and external stakeholders. Monitor and lead improvements in service quality, safety, clinical governance, and reporting frameworks. Lead change management initiatives, digital transformation, and service expansion projects. Develop reporting tools, KPIs, and dashboards that track operational performance and impact. Represent _ Arete Care _ in sector networks, forums, and strategic partnerships. Partner with the Director to contribute to business development, growth strategy, and risk planning. What You’ll Bring
At least 5 years’ experience in a senior executive or operational leadership role in _ NDIS _, healthcare, or aged care. Proven understanding of the _ NDIS _, _ TAC _, and _ Aged Care _ funding models, standards, and regulatory frameworks. _ Bachelor’s degree _ in Health, Business, Management, or a related discipline (_ Master’s degree _ highly regarded). Demonstrated capability in managing multi-stream service delivery, workforce planning, and compliance. Strong financial acumen and experience managing complex budgets and performance reporting. Inspirational leadership style with the ability to motivate, support and grow high-functioning teams. Superior interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
