About the role
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, this full-time Executive Assistant position offers an outstanding opportunity to provide high-level administrative support within the Pilbara Aboriginal Health Alliance. Based in South Hedland, Western Australia – or offered remotely for the right candidate – this is a diverse and rewarding role supporting both the CEO and Deputy CEO. The position plays a vital part in enabling the smooth operation of the executive team and contributing to the overall success and impact of the organisation.
What you'll be doing
Providing comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the Executives, including diary and schedule management, travel arrangements, and meeting coordination
Preparing and editing correspondence, reports, presentations and other documents as required
Assisting with the coordination and governance of the Board and executive-level meetings, including preparing agendas, taking and distributing minutes
Acting as the first point of contact for the CEO, managing incoming enquiries and requests
Undertaking ad-hoc projects and duties as directed
What we're looking for
Extensive experience as an Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant, ideally within the Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Sector
Familiarity with governance practices, board processes, and compliance frameworks within the Aboriginal health or community sector
Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including advanced skills in Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
A high level of attention to detail and discretion when handling confidential information
Genuine interest in the community-focused work of the Pilbara Aboriginal Health Alliance Limited
