Mildura Base Public Hospital (MBPH) is seeking a dynamic and motivated experienced Mental Health Clinician for this position within the Area Mental Health and Wellbeing Services.

About the Role:
The HOPE Program has been developed to provide assertive integrated aftercare for consumers experiencing a suicidal crisis. Using a range of therapeutic approaches, HOPE clinicians will work with consumers to identify & build coping strategies to help reduce their risk of suicidality. HOPE clinicians work with consumers, in conjunction with Wellbeing Support Workers, to help address their identified areas psychosocial needs.
The role is rostered in business hours, Monday to Friday. Full-time and/or part-time applications would be considered.
About You:
Applicants will be experienced Registered Nurses, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists or Psychologists currently eligible for membership/registration with the appropriate body.
Candidates will be experienced and motivated Mental Health Clinicians with demonstrated knowledge, experience and expertise in the assessment, safety planning; treatment and support planning; and therapeutic interventions of consumers experiencing suicidality.

Employment Conditions
This position is classified as a RPN3, OT2, or PSY2 under the Victorian Public Mental Health Services Enterprise Agreement. Registered nurses would required post-graduate mental health qualifications. Applicants will be required to provide a current or be able to obtain a National Police check, an Employee working with children's check and undertake immunisation screening prior to commencement.
