As we continue to expand across Queensland, we are seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to help accelerate business growth, strengthen client relationships, and win new opportunities across the market. This is a hands‐on, sales‐focused role suited to someone who thrives on networking, developing opportunities and building long‐term partnerships within the infrastructure, engineering, and utilities sectors.
About the Role
Our Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding ISGroup's market presence across Queensland. Focused on generating new business opportunities and strengthening strategic client relationships, you will lead growth initiatives across surveying, geospatial and utility mapping services. This role is heavily market‐facing and suited to someone who enjoys building networks, identifying opportunities, and converting relationships into long‐term partnerships. Working closely with operational leaders and our national growth team, you will help position ISGroup as a trusted partner to infrastructure, government, transport, utilities, energy, and development clients across the region.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive business development and sales activity across Queensland infrastructure, utilities, and government sectors
* Identify, pursue, and secure new client opportunities and strategic partnerships
* Build and strengthen relationships with engineering consultants, contractors, developers, and asset owners
* Support major tenders, proposals, and client presentations to win new work
* Maintain a strong sales pipeline and work closely with operational teams to deliver growth targets
About You

You Will Bring
* Proven experience in business development, sales or client management within infrastructure, engineering, surveying or geospatial sectors
* Strong networks and relationships across Queensland infrastructure, utilities or government markets
* A proactive, hunter‐style approach to generating and converting new business opportunities
* Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
* Commercial acumen with the ability to identify growth opportunities and drive revenue outcomes
Key Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, geospatial science, surveying or related discipline (desirable)
* Willingness to travel across Queensland as required
