About the Role
This is a senior design role at the core of the product — not the periphery.
As our Senior UI/UX Designer, you'll own the look, feel, and experience of a financial intelligence platform that Australian business owners will rely on daily. That means the client portal, the AI-powered insights layer, the lending tools, the dashboards — all of it. You're not decorating a finished product. You're defining what it becomes.
You'll work directly with the founders, with full context on where the product is heading and a genuine mandate to shape it. If you're a designer who wants their fingerprints on something that matters — this is the opportunity.
What You'll Do
* Own the visual design and interaction language of the product end-to-end
* Design the client portal experience — dashboards, financial summaries, loan facilities, cash flow tools, and AI-powered recommendations
* Translate complex financial data and lending intelligence into interfaces that feel clear, confident, and effortless
* Build and maintain a design system that gives the product consistency and the dev team speed
* Shape the AI interaction layer — how users engage with intelligent features, receive insights, and take action
* Collaborate closely with development to ensure designs are built with fidelity
* Identify experience gaps and UX friction — then solve them before they become problems
* Contribute to the overall product vision, not just the execution of it
What We're Looking For
* A senior-level UI/UX or Product Designer with a strong portfolio of complex, data-rich digital products
* Exceptional visual design ability — you make things look considered, not just functional
* Deep experience designing dashboards, portals, or financial/SaaS interfaces
* Mastery of Figma — component libraries, auto-layout, design systems, production-ready specs
* A systems thinker who designs for scale, not just the screen in front of them
* Strong understanding of interaction design and how users navigate complex information
* Experience working in or alongside agile development teams
* Fintech, lending, or business software experience is a significant advantage
* Someone who brings taste, point of view, and the confidence to back both
