Kyeema Seafoods is a thriving, family-run fresh seafood business in Kings Meadows, Launceston. We're looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and energetic individuals to join our close-knit team. We have casual roles available across retail, kitchen, and junior positions, so whether you're starting your first job or have retail/kitchen experience, there's a role for you.
Available Roles:
* Casual Retail Assistant – Serve customers, restock, and keep our shop floor shining
* Casual Kitchen/Retail Assistant – Cook, prep, and support retail operations
* Junior Retail Assistant – Learn, contribute, and kickstart your retail career
What We're Looking For:
* Bring your positivity – be friendly, reliable, and motivated
* Work smart and work together – independently or in a team
* Flexible with hours – weekdays, Saturdays, and peak seasons
* Ready to grow – juniors welcome or 1–2 years' relevant experience
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide outstanding customer service and create a great experience for every customer
* Support daily retail operations, including restocking and keeping the store tidy
* Prepare seafood products safely and accurately for kitchen roles
* Keep your workspace clean, organized, and efficient
* Follow all store procedures and food safety guidelines
* Multi-task effectively and communicate clearly with team members
Hours & Availability:
* Casual positions, approximately 15–30 hours per week depending on role and applicant
* Flexible roster: 6am–7pm Mon–Fri, 8am–7pm Sat (shifts vary each week)
* Additional hours available during peak periods for high-performing employees
