Role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced HVAC Service Technician to join the service team. You will be responsible for the maintenance, fault finding, and repair of mechanical assets such as chillers, boilers, AHUs, and split systems across commercial sites in a defined area of Melbourne. This is a hands-on, field-based role ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy, variety, and working in a fast-paced, solutions-driven setting. You will be supported by a collaborative service team, with access to technical support, training, and plenty of overtime opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Service, maintain, and repair a variety of commercial HVAC systems, including central plant equipment
Diagnose and repair faults in refrigeration and air conditioning systems, with a focus on refrigeration fault finding
Work with BMS controls, interpret wiring diagrams, and read electrical schematics
Ensure all work meets safety standards and complies with company policies
Collaborate effectively with other trades, project managers, and team members
Key Requirements
Certificate III in Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration
ARCTick Licence
Restricted Electrical Licence – D Licence
Minimum five years' post-trade HVAC experience
Current and valid driver's licence
Strong skills in fault diagnosis, particularly refrigeration systems
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics
Adaptable, reliable, and committed to providing top-tier service
