Key Role: Business Operations Specialist
A highly skilled business analyst is required to develop critical business cases for operational equipment replacement projects.
This role ensures safety, compliance, and interoperability across services.
We need a non-technical professional who can integrate key elements, including cost-benefit analysis, risk assessment, procurement options, and implementation planning, into a cohesive business case.
Responsibilities:
* Facilitate meetings and workshops with stakeholders to capture business needs and goals
* Develop business cases using standard templates aligned to the Strategic Asset Management Framework
* Progress business cases through the funding submission cycle, liaising with stakeholders and project managers
* Analyse business processes and conduct gap analysis to recommend improvements and process enhancements
* Create detailed plans, workflows, and checklists supporting business case development and implementation
* Provide unbiased advice on solution options and recommend best practices
* Attend regular progress meetings with project teams
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Demonstrated experience in business case development and strategic planning
* Strong background in business process analysis and improvement methodologies
* Ability to produce high-quality documentation, including cost-benefit analysis and risk management reports
* Stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills, with experience in workshop facilitation and stakeholder management
* Business analysis and strategic writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
* Process mapping and gap analysis skills, with experience in identifying areas for improvement
* Strong written communication and documentation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
