Communications Assistant Manager

Offer description

About the Position

Our team has great insights to share with our clients, staff and industry and we need someone to help us do that. We're proud of the work we deliver for our clients and the smarts and innovation of our people, working to solve some of the biggest challenges facing society today – a low carbon future, human-centric spaces and digital buildings.

You'll report to our Director - Marketing and Communications as you support NDY, our subsidiary brands ECS and NDYLIGHT, and our parent company Tetra Tech High Performance Buildings Group. You'll be key in the planning and delivery of activity which helps us win more work.

Working closely with our leadership, market sector and technical groups to own creation of content, you'll help position us as technical and thought leaders in key markets. A primary focus will be to create project case studies, flyers and presentations. You'll also work with leaders to source and develop social media content that will resonate with our key audiences.

You'll help drive client event activity – working with our business development teams to craft compelling company-to-company events.

Part of your role will also include support of our People & Culture team in driving internal staff engagement and attraction of the best talent to join the NDY team through a calendar of campaign activity.

About You

Ideally, you'll be a marketing or communications professional with a few years of experience and have excellent writing and editing skills. To be successful in this role, you'll be proactive and extremely well organised. You'll be great at building relationships and you'll respect the trust the marketing and communications team has built throughout the business by delivering on what you promise. In other words, you'll be a gun at delivering what our teams need, when they need it. We'd love you to have experience within engineering, construction or property as it means you'll understand the important elements of the work our engineers deliver and be able to hit the ground running. However, we're open to speaking with you if you've worked in any other technical B2B industries. We're also open to speaking with you if you're an administrator, EA/PA with engineering or construction experience and are looking to take the next step in your career.

We're a hands-on team where our motto is 'get stuff done'. To do that, we work together to solve problems, innovate and support the business. As part of our team, you'll be supported to learn new skills, present new ideas and take ownership of innovations you bring to the team.

We recognise, value and support talent, so you'll be inspired to create ideas, share solutions and deliver meaningful outcomes that will make a real difference to our clients and our communities.

We are committed to building and maintaining a workplace that is representative of the communities we serve, where everyone is respected and feels like they belong.
