Location, Hours and Availability
- Location: Open to those living in the following regions: Sutherland Shire, South West Sydney, Sydney Inner West, Inner North West, Outer South West, Illawarra & Shoalhaven (Wollongong).
- Hours: Guaranteed 38 hours per week.
- Availability: Must be able to roster Monday – Sunday, between 7am – 8pm; roster is provided in advance and shifts are based on customer demand with a focus on weekends and before/after school hours.
What You’ll Bring
Essential Licences
- Valid NSW Driving Instructor Licence
- Willingness to obtain TfNSW Safer Drivers Course (min module 2) accreditation
- Willingness to obtain Older Driver Assessment qualifications when eligible (requires 3 years of driving instructor experience)
- Valid NSW C class Driver’s Licence
- Valid Working with Children’s Check (WWCC)

- Passion and dedication to help learner drivers become safe and independent
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills with empathy and patience
- Ability to promote NRMA products using a need-based selling approach
- Excellent communication with diverse demographics and varying driving confidence levels
- Strong knowledge and adherence to NSW road rules and regulations
- Effective diary management and a strong work ethic to service customers
- Ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs
- Team player with flexibility to adapt and grow with business demand
Desirable (or Must Have a Willingness to Obtain)
- Facilitation skills with willingness to undertake Cert IV Training and Assessment during employment
- Willingness to upskill to deliver driver training programs (e.g., Safer Drivers Course and NRMA’s Corporate Driver Training)
