Transit Systems is seeking a motivated HSEQ Graduate to support safety, environmental, and quality initiatives across our NSW bus depots.
About the Role Location: Leichhardt, NSW As an HSEQ Graduate, you will work closely with the HSEQ Manager, Safety Advisors, and operational teams across multiple depots.
You will assist with safety compliance, incident management, audits, accreditation requirements, training support, and continuous improvement projects across the NSW bus network.
You will gain practical experience in a fast-paced transport environment and contribute to strengthening Transit Systems' strong safety culture.
Key Responsibilities Assist with incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions Support depot audits, inspections, and risk assessments Help maintain safety and accreditation requirements (BOAS) Contribute to driver inductions, toolbox talks, and safety programs Collect and analyse HSEQ data for reporting Support environmental and sustainability initiatives Provide general admin and document control support About You Qualification in WHS, Environmental Science, Risk Management or related field Strong communication, attention to detail, and willingness to learn Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced operational environment What We Offer Hands-on learning across multiple depots Mentoring from experienced HSEQ professionals Career growth in a major transport organisation About us In partnership with the Government, Transit Systems NSW innovates, designs and delivers public transport solutions that attract customers because they are easy to use, reliable, convenient and safe.
