The Opportunity
Boeing Defence Australia is looking for an Integrated Planning and Scheduling (IP&S) Technical Lead with extensive experience delivering large scale multidisciplinary projects and programs to join our MQ-28Program. This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Integrated planning and Scheduling team who support a range of complex campaigns, projects and programs based across our national business.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide technical leadership, direction, guidance on the development, implementation and continuous improvement of all technical aspects of the Master Production Schedule and all integrated planning, scheduling, change and baseline management best practices, processes, techniques and tools for the ATS Program.
- Contribute to strategic planning activities and provide direction on developing and implementing short/long range plans to support ATS Program and broader business goals and outcomes.
- Provide technical leadership and consultative advice / direction on IP&S best practices including recommending tailored solutions and/or advanced IP&S approaches to unique or unusually challenging and complex problems.
- Develop and manage an IP&S Quality Assurance Plan that provides ATS Leadership Team with the confidence that all IP&S deliverables, techniques and outputs are consistent and comply with PMBP's and applicable Boeing Enterprise Stage Gate Process requirements, associated business policies, procedures and standards.
- Technical lead, coach and mentor to less experienced employees on IP&S best practices.
Experience/Qualifications
- Strong negotiation, communication and organizational skills
- Extensive experience in Project Planning, Project Scheduling, Earned Value and Performance Management Systems in a commercial environment.
- Demonstrated track record of leading a successful execution team within a large and complex project/program.
- Thorough understanding of critical path analysis and the ability to tailor information and data for presentation to various stakeholders and levels of management
Essential
- Prior experience with Open Plan Professional (OPP), Cobra and the Defence Industry.
- Baseline or NV-1 Security Clearance
Desirable
- Formal tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, Business or Management field is desirable.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to exert influence at multiple organizational levels.
- High level communication and negotiation skills with a strong focus on building successful relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
