Job Title: Health and Safety Partner
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate individual to join our dynamic Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) team. As a Health and Safety Partner, you will play a key part in shaping and executing SHE strategy across our national footprint.
You will partner with Operational Managers and SHE colleagues to develop, implement and champion programs that foster a strong safety culture and deliver effective SHE leadership.
Your responsibilities will include participating in the implementation of the SHE strategy and continuous improvement plan, providing high-level project support to the SHE manager, leading the design and development of core training modules, and coordinating training activities throughout LDC operations.
You will also assist in the design, implementation, and review of SHE management system documentation, participate in incident investigations, coach, mentor and support site and regional managers on SHE matters, and more.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Demonstrated experience in a senior SHE role within a complex operational or industrial environment.
* Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation, environmental standards, and rehabilitation/injury management practices.
* Proven ability to influence and engage stakeholders across multiple levels of the business.
* Ability and willingness to travel regularly to LDC sites across Australia.
* Strong communication, coaching, and leadership skills.
