EvryStay is building an AI-powered guest guide that changes the way guests travel.
This digital guide lets travellers book local experiences, get instant responses to property-related questions, and explore the area with curated suggestions — allowing them to "travel before they travel" from the comfort of their own device rather than waiting for someone.
Our V1 is already live and adopted by the market, and we're committed to continuing to lead and innovate.
About the Role
We seek a hands-on, innovative CTO passionate about travel tech to develop, scale, and shape our platform globally, working closely with the founder.
This is a hybrid Melbourne role, requiring direct coding/engineering, not just management.
This is a hybrid role in Melbourne with occasional travel for events, showcases, and partner implementations.
It is not purely a management position – there will be times where you're expected to engineer and code directly, especially during rapid development cycles.
We're looking for someone who is genuinely passionate about AI, travel tech, and building beautifully simple user experiences.
What You'll Be Doing
Work closely with the founder to design, prioritise, and ship new features quickly.
Help establish scalable infrastructure, clean development processes, and technical standards.
Balance technical decisions with commercial and product goals.
Full-stack development experience: Python backend + JavaScript front-end.
Build and refine the systems that power our AI concierge, onboarding flows, and guest guide experience.
Take on direct engineering work when the team needs speed and momentum.
Guide external developers and future engineers as we grow.
Develop LLM-driven capabilities using OpenAI, Gemini, and other emerging AI tools.
Architect intelligent data flows and contextual reasoning models.
Build AI-powered travel suggestions, curated dining recommendations, and personalised tourist experiences.
Integrate with STR and hotel CRM systems, PMS platforms (Guesty, Resly, Hostaway), and other hospitality tools.
Continuously experiment with new technologies to keep EvryStay ahead of the industry.
Align product development with business goals and customer needs.
Support performance, scalability, and reliability as we grow.
Communicate clearly across product, design, and commercial teams.
Who You Are
Full-stack engineer with strong Python and JavaScript (front-end) experience.
Experienced with OpenAI, Gemini, and modern LLM frameworks.
Passionate about AI-driven travel experiences and delivering meaningful user value.
