In this dynamic role, you’ll make your mark by:
- Developing a deep understanding of customers’ goals and delivering win–win solutions while aligning with Bendigo Bank’s growth targets
- Proactively identifying new business prospects and opportunities to attract new agribusiness customers (up to $5m TAE)
- Partnering with network stakeholders to develop and implement local engagement plans for customers, communities and Bendigo Bank
- Driving profitable growth by meeting team sales targets, converting referrals and achieving measurable results
- Mentoring and developing the skills of fellow Agribusiness, Business Banking and Retail colleagues across the region
What you’ll bring to the role
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- A tertiary qualification in agribusiness, finance or a related discipline
- The ability to undertake travel and hold a current “C” class driver licence
Desirable:
- Demonstrated expertise in agribusiness lending and credit risk principles
- Financial analysis skills, including the ability to analyse and interpret financial statements
- Up-to-date knowledge of agriculture market conditions, agribusiness products, cash flows and markets
- Ability to think creatively to develop innovative, customer-centric solutions
