We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team in a challenging and rewarding role.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in cost planning, cost management and reporting. They will be responsible for delivering high-quality results and making significant contributions to the success of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Cost planning and estimating
* Cost analysis and benchmarking
* Value management
* Design option appraisal
* Post-contract cost control
* Preparation of Bills of Quantities, project cash flows, reports, asset management and life cycle costing
* Preparation of tender documentation
* Resource management and planning
* Assistance in staff development
* Assistance with business development
Requirements:
* A minimum Degree in Quantity Surveying is required
* A minimum 2 years of relevant local experience is required
* PQS experience or consultancy background desired
* Technically strong cost planning, cost management and reporting skills
* Highly developed report-writing abilities
* Independent worker who is able to work with minimal supervision
* Strong negotiation, contract management and communication skills
* Experience with CostX
