The Role
We are seeking a Graduate engineer (Mechanical or Electrical) to assist our Project Manager in our NSW Transitair division.
This role requires a graduate to assist the project management team and who is able to handle technical and operational tasks to ensure a project remains on schedule and within budget. This role requires a strong understanding of technical tasks, attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Process documentation including writing, sharing editing and updating important documents/reports requiring excellent organisational, written communication and technical skills.
* Assist with all technical project progress reports and documentation
* Creating and editing workflows
* Sharing documents with stakeholders and internal teams
* Recording project progress and performance metrics
* Preparing work scope and variation reports
* Maintaining and updating a project calendar
* Assist in the planning and coordination of projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with project goals
* Assist the project manager in the development of project budgets, project schedules, scope statements and project plans
* Supervise the project materials procurement process
* Foster cross-team collaboration to help complete project tasks and produce deliverables
Qualifications
* Electrical or Mechanical graduate degree
* Excellent phone manner and communication skills
* Ability to prioritise tasks with strong time management skills
* Computer and data entry skills
* A strong work ethic demonstrating initiative and enthusiasm
* A good sense of humour
* Willingness to learn and to follow instructions
* Work well as part of a team
* Full working rights in Australia
