We are seeking compassionate HCW’s for night duties who are required to ensure the highest level of care and customer service is provided to our consumers and their families. About the role: Jacaranda Lodge is located around 27km north of Swan Hill in a rural setting and provides low and high care as well as respite. Families will find the rural setting ensures a tranquil, home-like environment with beautiful gardens. The facility has a total of 30 beds, made up of 21 single rooms with ensuites, 3 single rooms with shared ensuites and 3 shared double rooms with shared ensuites. There is a communal dining area for residents with a kitchenette, a large community lounge area and 3 smaller lounge areas, laundry facilities and a chapel, all of which are available for you and your family. The purpose of the role is to provide 1:1 supervision of consumers at Swan Hill District Health to ensure a safe environment for consumers and staff. Provide additional support for the consumers requiring 3 person assist for ADLs and continence management for night. Cleaning of the clinical storage, maintenance of the equipment and additional duties as directed by In-Charge Nurse or Director of Nursing. About You: • Certificate Ill or IV in Aged Care/Individual Support or Certificate IV in Disability or equivalent. Understanding of person-centred care and high quality consumer’s care Positive Attitude Good communication skills including written, verbal and listening Current Victorian driver’s licence and owns car, Current First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain one. Current National Police Record Check or willing to obtain one. Current “Working with Children Permit” or willing to obtain one. Evidence of immunisation records/history as part of the Health Services Act 1988, 2020 Amendment (Mandatory Vaccination of Healthcare Workers), through either documentation or copy of serology report.
