About the role
Join MB+M as an on-site IT Officer in Shepparton, where you'll play a key role in maintaining and optimising our technology infrastructure to ensure security, compliance, and peak performance.
As a full-time IT Officer, you'll manage and enhance our IT systems, networks, and digital platforms, ensuring security, reliability, and smooth operations
What you'll be doing
Some of the duties involved in this role are:
* Provide first-line IT support to employees, troubleshoot issues, and resolve technical problems
* Work with external IT service providers to ensure support and timeliness of agreed services are delivered
* Oversee and maintain the company's computer systems, networks, servers, user accounts and permissions across systems.
* Actively upskill internal users and designated software champions across our platforms
* Monitor and ensure the security and integrity of our IT infrastructure
* Assist with the deployment and configuration of new hardware and software
* Collaborate to strive for continuous IT improvements and optimise processes, systems, monitoring system performance and proactively addressing potential issues under the guidance of the IT Director
* Provide training and guidance to employees on the use of IT systems and applications
What we're looking for
* Relevant qualifications in Information Technology or a related field
* Minimum 2 years of experience in an IT Officer or IT support role
* Strong skills in managing Microsoft Windows environment, networks, and peripheral devices
* Proficient in troubleshooting hardware and software issues
* Knowledge of network protocols, security best practices, and data backup/recovery
