**The Position**
As the Finance Business Partner to the Senior Management team, you will be the key person providing them with accurate financial analysis and recommendations around the organisation and its Commercial Division. You will focus on both the internal manufacturing and supply chain areas, including sub-contractors, with the purpose being to provide true costs in the manufacture and installation of commercial products. Using this information, you will work with key stakeholders to develop a user-friendly costing system that will drive to organisation's goals and achieving desired margin.
**The Duties**
- Undertake a critical analysis of all costs associated with production of goods, including but not limited to material, machinery and labour costs
- Partner with the Commercial Operations Manager and Commercial team to gain a full understanding of commercial products and processes
- Partner with Production and Supply Chain teams on analysis of operational costs
- Communicate simply and articulately and maintain close working relationships with the wider business to improve the understanding of product costs
- Provide specialist support to the Senior Management team and provide recommendations on pricing decisions
- Assist in the development and implementation of a costing module that achieves simplification and consistency in relation to pricing/quoting
- Evolve information systems to best support a costings framework that are efficient to use and improves the understanding of costs across the Commercial team and the wider business
- Produce training manuals to support new adopted technology and liaise with IT Developers to ensure new systems and procedure are correctly implemented
- Ad hoc project, reporting and analysis as required by the GM or MD
