We are seeking a dynamic and visionary State Manager – Western Australia to lead our Electrical & Communications WA field division. Reporting to the Managing Director E&C, you will be responsible for delivering safe, profitable growth, managing key resources, mentoring project leaders, and driving operational efficiency. This role is instrumental in shaping the future success of Equans ANZ in WA.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop the WA Operations field division to achieve financial targets and operational excellence.
* Oversee plant, equipment, vehicles, operational logistics, and workforce scheduling.
* Mentor Project Managers to improve forecasting, commercial skills, and business development capabilities.
* Drive company strategy, safety culture, and compliance with HSE policies; champion zero-harm workplace practices.
* Manage project delivery rigorously, ensuring contracts meet profit, cash flow, and sales budgets.
* Foster cross-functional collaboration in line with the Equans "One Team" approach.
* Cultivate new business opportunities and maintain strong customer and industry stakeholder relationships.
* Support talent development, succession planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Implement efficiency initiatives and innovation to secure Equans' market leadership.

What You Need
* Extensive management experience in a multi-site services business, preferably in construction and services sectors.
* Proven track record in driving profit, business improvement, and revenue growth.
* Experienced in leading and developing project managers and technical teams.
* Strong strategic, financial, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
* Customer-focused with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Resilient, action-oriented, and able to drive results under challenging circumstances.
* Culturally sensitive and capable of empowering teams while maintaining control.
Your Qualifications
* Diploma or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
