Job Description:
You will be responsible for driving the growth and development of our gas detection business in Australia.
As a seasoned sales professional, you will work closely with our customer base, develop new business opportunities, and support our distributor partners throughout the sales cycle.

Based in South Australia to cover SA and NT and surrounds primarily, with potential involvement in some activities in other parts of Australia
Selling gas detection solutions through distribution and directly to customers in Australia
Generating new sales opportunities/business development
Positioning Industrial Scientific's suite of products, services, and solutions, including iNet as a service
Increasing and self-generating new sales leads across both iNet and traditional sales
Prospecting for new business, preparing/presenting proposals, and maintaining existing relationships
Identifying new prospective contacts through online research, outbound sales prospecting calls, referrals, event attendance, and other sales campaign activities
Reaching sales goals as set by management
Developing a customer base necessary to meet all sales forecasts and budgets
Identifying, managing, and evaluating current and new distribution channels
Training distributor partners
Maximizing profit
Maintaining a high level of product and vendor knowledge
Documenting all planned and completed activities
Attending exhibitions where appropriate
Continuously maintaining company CRM (Salesforce) and accurately capturing sales funnel
Attending sales meetings with updated reports
Completing relevant documentation for sales progress
Providing sales and technical assistance to customers as needed
