Purpose of Role:
As Regional Sales Manager for HPGR & Stirred Mills, you will actively support our ambition to grow the market of our Enduron High Pressure Grinding Rolls, as well as the engineered process solutions that they are integrated in for the minerals industry in Australia.
You will provide support in the areas of marketing, sales and strategy, with regard to Enduron HPGR and maintain multilevel relations with customers in the mining and minerals processing industries as the frontier of our HPGR sales team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Propose and initiate new business activities in conjunction with the Sales Manager
- Play a key role in the sales process and contract negotiations as prime contact between the customer and the Commercial Manager located the at the head office in the Netherlands
- Build and maintain relationships on management (C) level with engineering companies, contractors, end-users and owners in the mining and minerals processing industry
- Analyse competitor developments and safeguards or increases in the Enduron market share
- Liaise regularly with management and staff of Weir Minerals Australia and make use of its sales network where applicable
- Translate customers' enquiries into sellable HPGR technology solutions with the support of the Application Engineers, Product Managers, Process Specialists
- Review and process required document flow towards Weir Minerals and vice versa
- Reporting to the Sales Manager on call reports, CRM updates and market plans and personal business plans
- Operational work and administratively reporting in line with local requirements and rules to the Managing Director of Weir Minerals Australia
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
- Experience with Mining Capital Equipment Sales
- A natural drive to find or create business opportunities
- The proven ability to close deals by developing a preferred position with customers
- Professional (business) attitude & commercial acumen
- Experience managing sales teams and working in leadership roles
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong customer awareness with the ability to find the customer's drivers in the various stages of the typical sales cycle for capital goods
- Industry insider with 5 to 10 years commercial track record in high-quality technical capital goods.
- Willingness to travel within the territory
