Job Description
We are currently searching for a full-time retail sales assistant to support our sales team and provide exceptional customer service. As a sales assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with inventory management, cash handling, sales support, and stocking merchandise.
Our stores trade seven days a week, so you must be available to work every third weekend on a rotating roster. This position will be based in Charters Towers, Queensland.
* Assist with inventory management
* Cash handling and processing payments and returns
* Sales support, up-selling or cross-selling products to customers
* Stocking, merchandising, and maintaining the store's overall cleanliness and organization
* Assisting in training new employees and supporting other departments or team members as necessary
As a sales assistant, you will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service by greeting customers, assisting them in finding products, answering questions about merchandise, and handling any complaints or issues they may have.
