About the opportunity

Working a 19:9 roster, flying from any capital city in Australia, Altrad are seeking an experienced Coating Supervisor to join our team and play a key role in supervising work teams to ensure that all work is completed safely, on schedule and to the highest standard.

In this role, you will:

Supervise and coordinate site operations to deliver work safely, on time and to quality standards, including planning, scheduling, permits, audits and progress reporting.

Lead and promote a strong Safety, Health & Environment culture, ensuring compliance with Altrad Golden Rules and assist continuous improvement in safety performance.

Build and maintain effective relationships with the client and internal stakeholders, providing clear communication, proactive problem-solving and a strong customer‐focused approach.

Drive operational excellence through workforce leadership, performance monitoring, resource planning, material coordination, and support of continuous improvement initiatives.

Develop and support teams by providing coaching, mentoring, training, and inclusive leadership while ensuring productivity, quality, and cost‐effective outcomes.

About you

You're a proactive, reliable, and results‐driven professional who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys contributing to meaningful outcomes.

5+ years site based experience in energy, mining, and/or construction industry

Experience in Oil & Gas/ LNG industry is highly desirable

Previous experience and/or certification in STOPAQ and Humidur coating applications and utilisation of Plural Pumps is desirable

Strong communication skills with the ability to prepare clear work reports and job instructions, and engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Confident leader and team player with the ability to positively influence, mentor and support site‐based work crews.

Sound computer skills including MS Word, Excel and Outlook, with the flexibility and willingness to undertake a broad range of on‐site and off‐site tasks as required.
