HOBAN Recruitment is currently partnering with a respected **VIC Local Council **in the search for a highly capable individual to join as a **Waste Driver - Solo Operator - Side Loader **located in **Ivanhoe, VIC**.
**What's in it for you**:

- $33.65 per hour + super
- Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm
- Based in Ivanhoe, VIC
- Start 14th August
**About the role**:
- To provide the safe and effective operation of a garbage collection vehicle engaged in street cleaning work.
- To provide team leadership for shopping centre cleansing unit.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Assist with drainage maintenance
- Perform the shopping centre program collection.
- To act as driver of a garbage compactor vehicle (As required).
- To assist with the clearance operation involving.
- Collection of dumped rubbish
- To carry out regular routine maintenance to truck.
- Cleaning public toilets & BBQ.
- To assist with any task undertaken by the Cleansing Unit and as directed by the Supervisor.
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- MR Drivers License highly desirable
- Experience in operating mechanical plant & equipment.
- Knowledge of traffic control requirements as to placement of warning signs, barriers and lights.
