What the opportunity involves:
We seek an Account Manager to join our team based at Northgate, Brisbane. Reporting to the Field Sales Manager, you will be primarily responsible for managing, re-signing, and retaining targets through persuasive and effective negotiations within the portfolio.
You will be a well-seasoned sales and account manager with a proactive, hands-on approach. You will work in the office and the field, building your portfolio.

Responsibilities:
1. Achieve re-sign and retention targets through persuasive and effective negotiations within the portfolio.
2. Develop and implement strategies and actions to maximise revenue, profitability, and overall portfolio growth.
3. Collaborate with internal teams to maximise cross-selling opportunities and ensure that the customer is presented with a single cohesive face and company value proposition.
4. Ensure that CRM and regular sales reporting is completed accurately, efficiently and within expected timeframes to ensure current and accurate customer/market intelligence.
5. Comply with defined systems and standards when dealing with internal and external customers.
6. Develop and submit quotes and/or tenders to secure, re secure & grow customer revenues and margins including maximizing share of wallet opportunities and securing price increases.
7. Comply with all requirements, plans, and actions to meet corporate governance and statutory obligations.
About you:
8. Min 2 years exp in a strategic account management role.
9. Negotiation, relationship building, and customer management skills within a complex, multi-faceted environment.
10. High problem-solving skills with a ‘can do’ approach within a solution-selling environment.
11. Strong presentation and proposal/tender skills (written & verbal).
12. Ability to develop long-term customer partnerships to secure reoccurring profitable revenue.
13. Intermediate IT skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Database and Customer Relationship Management
14. tools).
