Podiatrist – Contractor
My Rehab Team is seeking a motivated and compassionate Podiatrist to join our growing multidisciplinary rehabilitation team. This contractor role is ideal for a podiatrist who enjoys flexibility, autonomy, and working with a diverse community-based caseload while being supported by a friendly, collaborative team.
About the Role
This is a flexible contractor position providing podiatry services to clients in the community, with the option to also see patients at our Eight Mile Plains clinic (Medsana Medical Clinic).
You will work with a varied caseload including NDIS, My Aged Care, and Medicare-funded clients, managing your own schedule while receiving consistent referrals from our rehab and medical teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive podiatry assessments and treatment plans
* Deliver podiatry services for NDIS, My Aged Care, and Medicare clients
* General podiatry care including skin and nail care, diabetic foot care, and risk assessments
* Manage chronic conditions, mobility concerns, and injury-related foot conditions
* Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
* Liaise with the multidisciplinary rehab and medical team
* Educate clients on foot health, footwear, and injury prevention
About You
* AHPRA-registered Podiatrist
* Professional indemnity insurance (or willingness to obtain)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently in a contractor role
* Reliable transport and willingness to travel locally
* Experience with community, NDIS, or aged care clients is desirable but not essential
