Responsible for ensuring the best deals and prices for the business from wholesalers, ensuring that the store has all products needed daily or weekly and in fresh and optimum quality.
Negotiate with vendors, suppliers, manufacturers, and other third parties as needed to secure the best and freshest quality goods at the best price to ensure competitiveness.
Analyse customer preferences with regard to product quality and variety; conduct research on buying trends in various markets to maximise profitability for the business.
Manage budgets for the purchase of products.
Formal qualification or 3 years relevant employment experience required.
