Key Responsibilities:
* Food Preparation: Assist in preparing dishes with precision, adhering to recipes and maintaining high standards.
* Station Management: Take charge of the pasta station, overseeing all aspects of pasta preparation—from fresh pasta and sauces to final plating
* Kitchen Supervision: Lead and mentor junior kitchen staff, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to quality.
* Food Presentation: Ensure all dishes are meticulously plated and presented to meet both menu and kitchen standards.
* Kitchen Operations: Contribute to the effective and efficient running of the kitchen, managing tasks and maintaining consistency.
* Menu Development: Assist in menu planning and the creation of innovative dishes.
* Staff Development: Support the growth of junior staff, providing guidance and training.
* Lead by Example: Uphold the highest standards in both kitchen operations and staff conduct.
Requirements:
* Diploma level qualification or at least 2 years experience in a similar role within an Italian restaurant.
* Strong culinary knowledge with a creative and innovative approach to cooking.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills.
* A genuine passion for exceptional food and a keen eye for high-quality presentation.
* Proactive with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
* Professional appearance and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organised workspace.
