**Marketing Coordinator: Food & Beverage + Meetings and Special Events (new role)**
This is an exciting new role and opportunity to join the Marketing, Brand and Tourism team at Optus Stadium. We’re looking for an energetic marketing coordinator who is a passionate foodie and is keen to be part of the action in marketing our world-class venue for meetings and special events.
**Key Focus**
- Assist the Marketing Manager in the development and implementation of the quarterly marketing plans for food and beverage initiatives including, Meetings & Special Events (MASE), City View Café, Goodwood Restaurant and event day dining.
- Collaborate with the Meetings and Special Events (MASE) team to create marketing plans and content for special events at the Stadium including; Melbourne Cup lunches, AFL Grand Final Day, Quiz nights and other owned events.
- Be a part of exciting culinary projects including Optus Stadium’s new culinary ambassador chef Matt Moran.
- Promote and showcase Optus Stadium’s venue hirer as the number one destination to hold meetings, conferences, school balls, weddings, dinners and parties.
- Bring current ideas to create engaging content to promote food and beverage and MASE across owned channels including website, EDMs, social media and marketing collateral.
- Management and servicing of social media and content calendars.
- Website management including content updates and monitoring analytics.
- Event day support to deliver marketing activities including social media management.
**What You’ll Bring**
- A passion for the sports, entertainment and tourism industry.
- Three plus years’ experience delivering content and marketing campaigns.
- A creative approach to marketing and an awareness of latest content trends.
- Strong communication and copywriting skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritise tasks within a busy team environment.
- Robust stakeholder relationships and the ability to influence others.

While standard hours are 8.30am to 5.00pm, the nature of the event industry means that you will be required to work outside these hours particularly around events being staged at Optus Stadium and Stadium Park.
