We provide engineering leadership on programs involving cross-domain systems, Zero Trust, and classified ICT infrastructure supporting clients in the design, testing, and accreditation of secure platforms.
The Role
We're seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead architecture, integration, and assurance activities across a high-assurance ICT platform aligned to Data Centric Security and Zero Trust principles. In this role, you'll engage with technical stakeholders, oversee design validation, and guide system delivery across a multi-partner environment.
This is a Canberra-based position offering long-term opportunity to shape and assure secure, mission-critical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead systems engineering activities across the design, deployment, and validation of secure ICT platforms.
* Contribute to architecture definition, risk mitigation, and solution integration planning.
* Collaborate with infrastructure, network, and security teams to ensure cohesive system delivery.
* Provide oversight on testing and assurance schedules, identifying risks and coordinating remediation.
* Ensure compliance with accreditation frameworks and maintain current documentation and artefacts.
* Support stakeholder engagement across technical forums and planning workshops.
* Provide expert guidance on system behaviour, configuration, and security hardening.
What You'll Need
* Demonstrated experience in systems engineering across secure or classified environments.
* Strong understanding of secure architectures, Zero Trust, and system accreditation processes.
* Broad technical knowledge across Wintel, networking, cloud, and identity domains.
* Ability to lead multidisciplinary technical teams and coordinate across delivery streams.
* Excellent documentation and communication skills.
* Australian Citizenship with an active NV1 security clearance.
