This specialised rural general practice located in the township of Manjimup is seeking a full‐time general practitioner to join the team of a busy, established practice.The practice is in a Distribution Priority Area (DPA) MM5 location, in the town of Manjimup, in the heart of the South‐West and the beautiful Warren Blackwood region. With a population of more than 9,000 people, Manjimup is 294km south of Perth.Manjimup is culturally diverse and incorporates a mixture of agriculture, farming, and mining. It is the premium food bowl of the state, has stunning beaches and majestic forests. Residents appreciate living, working and playing in this special part of the state.The Practice A privately owned practice that was purpose‐built with a specifically designed procedural room offers mixed billing, on‐site pathology, and allied health services. The practice is dedicated to providing the local community with professional, kind, and personalised medical care. It offers a great opportunity to practice general medical obstetrics and/or anaesthetics.The practice is heavily involved in teaching final year medical students through rural placements and the rural clinical school based in Bridgetown. There is also a steady rotation of GP registrars.
