In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee the Shire's statutory and strategic planning functions, provide expert advice to Council and stakeholders, and drive innovative land use and development initiatives.
From assessing complex development applications to leading strategic land projects and policy development, your work will directly contribute to shaping the future of the Shire of Ashburton.

This is offered as a maximum term contract five-year term, with Shire-provided housing, relocation support, generous leave, a market-competitive salary, and a supportive team culture.Remuneration and BenefitsIndicative Package Range: Indicative Annual Package: $214,738 which includes base salary of $140,000 + housing provision + vehicle + superannuation and annual allowances (conditions apply).
