We’re seeking a motivated and capable Customer Support Team Leader to lead a team of Customer Support Coordinators delivering high-quality administrative, systems support and operational coordination across our Social Enterprises.


In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll support site teams and customers by ensuring enquiries and operational needs are managed efficiently and services run smoothly. You’ll guide your team to deliver strong operational outcomes while contributing to supported employment and the broader genU network.


This role suits someone who is organised, approachable and service-oriented, with strong leadership skills and a practical mindset, and who takes pride in building team capability and delivering excellent support.


Reporting to the relevant leader, you’ll play an important role in coordinating day-to-day operations, strengthening commercial outcomes and ensuring team performance aligns with genU’s values and strategic goals.

What you’ll do


As a Customer Support Team Leader, you'll:


* Lead and develop a national team of Customer Support Coordinators to deliver high-quality administrative and operational support.
* Provide excellent customer service, managing enquiries, invoicing, registrations and accounts payable/receivable.
* Act as a key contact point for internal and external stakeholders across Social Enterprise sites.
* Drive effective use of internal systems and tools to improve efficiency and consistency across the division.
* Oversee day-to-day administration, including phone and email management, reporting, data entry and record keeping.
* Support financial and operational processes, including invoicing, purchase orders, petty cash, inventory and procurement.
* Maintain professional standards and team capability, including document management, reception presentation, staff supervision and contributing to divisional projects.


What you’ll bring


* Previous experience in administration, customer service or office support (this could be from a corporate, retail, community or operational environment).
* A genuine customer-first mindset and confidence communicating with people from all walks of life.
* Solid organisational skills and the ability to juggle tasks while staying calm and professional.
* Comfortable using systems and technology, with accurate data entry skills (experience with SAP is a bonus, not a must).
* A positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn and grow.

Bonus points if you have:

* Significant experience working within complex, multi-site operational organisations
* Proven experience leading and managing administration or customer support teams
* Relevant qualification in Business Administration or a related field (or equivalent experience)

(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)
