This role requires an electrical designer with experience in underground and overhead electrical infrastructure projects with the outlook of designing and documenting turnkey infrastructure and renewable energy systems to help create a more sustainable future.
The day-to-day duties of this role vary based on the requirements of Elecseed's internal development projects and external client services, however, will generally cover the full project lifecycle from feasibility through to, concept design and approvals, front end engineering design, detailed design, construction documentation, construction administration, commissioning and commercial operations.

SPECIALISATION SKILLS
Electrical underground and overhead reticulation design and documentation to Australian Standards and DNSP requirements (under supervision and direction of Elecseed engineers)
Experienced in Autocad and other drafting software to deliver detailed design and construction documentation of underground and overhead power networks, substations, switchyards and communications pit and pipe
Experience in coordinating electrical designs with other engineering disciplines
Familiar with electrical design principles and calculation tools/software
Familiar with BOQ preparation and project tendering
RESPONSIBILITIES
Apply a comprehensive understanding and electrical design principles to devise and deliver economical and practical solutions that best meet project requirements and drivers
Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with Australian standards and project specific technical standards as may be applicable
Assume responsibility for the complete management of projects including subconsultants and contactors
Producing and coordination of design documentation, specifications, plan, reports and schedules
Plan and manage resources to meet all deliverables, milestone achievements and overall project outcomes
Maintain positive client relationships by conducting all work in a professional and productive manor
Contribute to overall management, growth and profitability of the company
Actively participate in professional development and continual learning to excel in the renewables field
Understand and ensure compliance with regulatory, governance and quality requirements
REQUIREMENTS
The minimum requirements for the role include:

· Valid driver's licence and white card

· Certificate or qualification in the electrical industry
· NBN Pit and Pipe Design Accreditation
