About the Role
This role will be based at Charles Perkins Centre, University of Sydney. The successful candidate must obtain and maintain University of Sydney affiliate status.
The Digital Communications Officer supports digital channels including websites, digital learning hubs, EDM systems, and social media through content creation, management, problem solving, and reporting. Employment is through SLHD and involves working across the entire SHP partnership, including attending events at partner sites across Sydney and Nepean Blue Mountains.
Sydney Health Partners (SHP) is an NHMRC Research Translation Centre, a strategic partnership of five major health services, ten medical research institutes, and the University of Sydney. SHP is governed by a Board and supported operationally by Sydney Local Health District and the University of Sydney, with a small executive team based at The University of Sydney, Camperdown.

Ideal Candidate
Experience developing and implementing digital communications products, including websites and social channels, in large organizations.
Video production skills, including shooting and editing content.
Strong background in STEM communications and ability to develop engaging online content that conveys complex scientific ideas to a lay audience.
