The Western Australia Police Force is seeking to fill two leadership roles within Infrastructure Systems and Network Services in its ICT Operations arm.
We are seeking ICT professionals who can lead within a complex organisation, following an 18 year, milestone sourcing event.
As an inclusive and strategic-thinking leader, you will actively contribute to supporting frontline police officers to keep our community safe. You will directly see the benefits of your innovative service delivery supporting stakeholders internally, partners within the public sector externally, as well as delivery services to the West Australian community.
THE ROLE
Infrastructure Systems
In Infrastructure Systems you will lead operations, which includes cloud delivery models, cloud storage, database and back‐up/recovery operations and technology platforms. Ensuring the optimum management of contracts for the provision, operation, maintenance and support of business information systems infrastructure.
You will oversee the transition of services across the Infrastructure Operations Division for the newly awarded managed services contract. The Infrastructure Systems team will be critical to success in the future of ICT services within the agency, delivering the AI Roadmap and functionality deployment within WA Police Force environments and a Data Centre refresh programme with continued Cloud adoption and other strategic large data storage solutions.
Infrastructure Network Services
Infrastructure Network Services include telephony, data and video services (including emergency call taking and dispatch), and a Unified Communication environment. In addition to those leading those services, the Executive Manager ensures optimum management of contracts for the provision, operation, maintenance and support of business information systems communication and network infrastructure.
You will lead with influence, as the portfolio implements Service Integration (SI) where the Executive Managers will be responsible Service Owners. This role leads a quality service, across the agency, as a partner with other Technology service towers.
