Due to significant growth in recent years, BDO Auckland are further building the partnership and have identified a new opportunity to establish a Financial Services Audit practice in New Zealand.
The Financial Services Audit Partner will be accountable for developing the New Zealand Financial Services Audit practice, initially with support from BDO Australia. Based in Auckland the Partner will be tasked with consolidating a growing pool of locally-based financial services clients to establish this service line in its own right in the New Zealand market. They will also proactively engage new customers across wealth & asset management, FinTech, insurance, banks, credit unions, and foreign exchange firms to continue to build the practice.
Accordingly, we are seeking expressions of interest from individuals who have:
· Extensive financial/external audit experience across a financial services client base
· A current auditor’s licence (FMA, ASIC etc) is required
· Proven senior experience within a top tier accounting firm
· Advanced stakeholder management and influencing abilities
· Skills in business development, client engagement, and pipeline building
· Experience within a Partnership model firm
