Our client is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a wide variety of building remediation projects across the Newcastle region. This is a key leadership position where you will be responsible for managing on-site delivery from initial setup through to project completion, ensuring safety, quality, program and commercial objectives are achieved.
As Site Manager, you will work closely with internal teams, subcontractors and clients to drive performance, resolve issues and deliver successful project outcomes. This role is well suited to a technically minded Site Manager with experience in high-rise building facades or remediation works, ideally within the residential space, who enjoys leading teams and contributing to the ongoing growth of the business. There will be other commercial projects as well in the future.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:Managing on-site works from initial site establishment through to project completionEnsuring compliance with HSEQ requirements and company proceduresOverseeing site plant, equipment and resources to ensure they are maintained and operationalManaging project programs, costs and budgets to meet commercial and delivery targetsCoordinating direct labour, labour-hire personnel and subcontractorsEffectively delegating work activities to ensure efficient site operationsCompleting project progress reporting and facilitating regular site and client meetingsProviding advice on technical, trade or engineering issues where requiredDriving proactive problem-solving and implementing innovative site-based solutions
Qualifications and Requirements:Trade qualification or construction backgroundProven experience working on construction remediation projectsDemonstrated site management or frontline leadership experienceStrong understanding of site delivery, budgeting and cost controlExperience managing subcontractors, documentation and approvalsCurrent driver’s licenceAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines
